You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. – 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
Declaration/Prayer
Lord, as we celebrate our favorite athletes and teams, we’re mindful of their hard work and personal sacrifices. Let us also dedicate ourselves to our workplace roles with the understanding it’s part of the race You’ve called us to. May we run with distinction to obtain an eternal crown to cast at Your feet. Amen.
