Scripture
For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. – Ephesians 6:12
And when He [Jesus] had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross. – Colossians 2:15
Declaration/Prayer
Lord, when reading and praying these LETHAL COMBOS, I often have to remind myself the opponent isn’t the overbearing boss, the difficult coworker, or the demanding customer, it’s the very real devil who’s on the clock 24/7. When I’m at work and there’s an avalanche of unexpected setbacks or anxiety over an unknown outcome or the trap of performance driven self-worth or misunderstandings and unfounded accusations with teammates, help me be on guard and recognize what might be working behind the scenes. Use me as Your resource of insight and truth to expose the enemy and remind him he’s been down for the count for 2,000 years. Amen.
