For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the WIDTH and LENGTH and DEPTH and HEIGHT— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:14-19
Declaration/Prayer
Lord, actuate this power packed prayer of the Apostle Paul in my life. I can only speculate whether or not Paul (in his former life as Saul) witnessed You hanging on the cross outside of Jerusalem, but the way he tangibly portrays love brings to mind Your ultimate act of love for us at Calvary. The Divine Dimensions of…the WIDTH of Your outstretched arms on the cross…the LENGTH of the agony and shame You endured…the DEPTH of Your forgiveness for those crucifying You…the HEIGHT You lifted broken humanity. Let us experience and share Your love at home, at work, and everywhere everyday. Amen.
