Lord, I understand how a lack of vision can cause a lack of purpose and performance, but a corollary to this verse is, “Where there’s an unrestrained visionary, the people become castaways.” That is, I’ve experienced leadership with its head in the clouds ignoring the burnt out crew…it nearly shipwrecked us all. Help us at work elevate the vision and regulate the effort so we reach our destiny without “man overboard!” Amen.
