Scripture
I [Jesus] have told you this so that through me you may have peace. In the world you’ll have trouble, but be courageous – I’ve OVERCOME the world! – John 16:33
Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept His authority. – 1 Peter 3:22
Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to Him and get what He is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. – Hebrews 4:15-16.
Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—He could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now He’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility He plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! – Hebrews 12:2-3
Declaration/Prayer
Lord, all of the scriptures of these LETHAL COMBOS for overcoming the devil have put adrenaline in my soul, but especially these. Just as instructed, I’m committed to studying Your victorious ways so they’re repeated in my life. You are the stand-alone-champion, but You don’t stand by yourself. I’m standing with You, along with everyone else willing to jump in the ring and triumph over fear, isolation, shame, and every other dirty trick of the devil. Amen.
